EduTech currently supports Heartland Systems’ NutriKids Cafeteria Point of Sales System.The cafeteria systems are point-of-sale software products designed for school cafeterias that allow the district food service manager to quickly and efficiently move students through the lunch line, minimize exchange of cash, and accurately generate required reports for Free and Reduced Lunch reporting. Use of these software products has shown to increase average daily participation rates by creating a smooth traffic flow at cafeteria lines, allowing students more time to consume a healthy lunch/breakfast.
EduTech - NutriKids Services Include:
Program Updates: All updates to the Manager and Serving Line Software will be placed on the server as soon as NutriKids releases them. Updates include: Manager Program, Serving Line Program, Direct Cert Tool and NYS SIRS tool (Level 0).
Support Questions: Support questions for the Manager and Serving Line Programs as well as pin pad, computers and monitor issues and any other NutriKids questions.
MySchoolBucks: Support for the online Parent Portal
Direct Cert Import: Import SNAP and Medicaid Direct Cert File from the State Ed into NutriKids – Help run necessary reports
SIS File into NutriKids: Setup import fields and automation into NutriKids for the student information file to import on a daily basis. Also monitor that the file is being created out of student system on a daily basis.
Backup of Data: NutriKids data will be backed up to EduTech’s FTP server on a nightly basis (Disaster Recovery).
Level 0 Reporting: Cleanup of database to get ready for Level 0 reporting. Setup automation of Level 0 (Poverty File) to a folder on server then forwarded to Data Warehousing team to uploaded to the State Ed Department.
Yearly Rollover: Assist on site with the yearly rollover process.
Equipment Loaners: EduTech has pin pads and monitors spares for loaners in case your equipment fails – loan equipment until the district’s equipment comes in.
