Login Assistance & Student Registration

Trouble Logging In?

• Please use a Windows PC, Chromebook, or Macintosh. Devices like cell phones and tablets do not work well.
• Use Google Chrome, Edge, or Firefox as the browser. You may need to allow pop-ups and redirects.
• Sometimes issues can stem from needing to clear the browsing history or from cookies and pop-ups being blocked.

To allow pop-ups and redirects: 

• Click the view site information (tune) button in the top left corner of the URL line 
• Click the button to turn on pop-ups and redirects 
• Refresh the page to apply updated settings. 

To allow cookies: 

• Click the view site information (tune) button in the top left corner of the URL line 
• Click on "Cookies and site data” 
• Click on "Allow cookies" 
• Refresh your page 

You may also need to clear your browsing history: 

• Ctrl-Shift-Delete is the shortcut – a box will pop-up 
• Check the browsing history and cached images and files boxes 
• Once those are selected press “clear data”

How do I Register a Student?

Directions:

1. Log in to our site - https://www.edutech.org/resources/accelerateu-online-learning 
2. Don’t have a login? Request login credentials below. 
3. Go to the “Students” tab and click “Add Student”. Fill out all the information using actual student data. We report to NYSED, so this needs to be accurate. Then click “Save”. 
4. Click the “Click Here” link to open the student’s account and request the course. 
5. Select “Requested Courses” and “Add a new course request”. 
6. Select the term, course, start date, and name of the person who approves payment. Select the entry reason, read the language, and click “Save” when finished.  
7. We will enroll the student for the requested start date and send a confirmation email with login information and instructions. An email will also be sent to parents/guardians informing them of an option to view the detailed gradebook.

Please Note:  

• Please note that we are a BOCES service and can only work directly with districts to enroll students. Please reach out to your child's district if you think AccelerateU may be a good option for them
• For Regents Science courses, districts are responsible for supervising and documenting hands-on labs. The requirement is 1200 minutes per the NYSED regulations. 
• Enrollments starting in May and June are invoiced at full cost, regardless of outcome.  
• Districts need to assign local staff to coach and assist students. Please let us know if any new staff need to have login information.
